What is Reiki and how does it work?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki practitioners act as a middle ground between you and energy forces. Energy travels from them to you, and more specifically the areas of focus. Stuck energy can lead to pain and illness. Reestablishing a better flow of energy can help create a healthier environment within your body and mind

Personalized Reiki Training

Most classes are hybrid with some participants attending in person (New Jersey) and others remotely
I offer private (one-on-one) and small group Reiki training and certification sessions in a cozy home studio setting in NJ for those who want to attend in person. Students may also attend remotely, most classes are a hybrid of both in person and remote students. This intimate learning environment allows me to tailor the experience to your unique needs and learning style, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way. My goal is to empower you to unlock your full potential, achieve your personal goals, and embark on a path of profound growth.

Traditional Usui Training

While I am trained in both Eastern and Western Reiki styles, my certification classes follow the traditional Usui discipline. You’ll enjoy a balanced learning experience that combines academic knowledge with hands-on practice.

Empowering You to Heal

The mission of my training program is to transform you into a confident Reiki practitioner capable of working on yourself and/or with clients for general balancing or addressing more serious health issues. Upon completing the course, you’ll be equipped to start your own Reiki practice. No prior knowledge or healing experience is required—Reiki is accessible to everyone, and anyone can learn to channel its healing energy.

Reiki Levels and Applications

For most individuals, Reiki levels 1 & 2 provide a solid foundation for personal healing and practice. Reiki level 2 also allows you to practice Reiki on others. If you aspire to work in healthcare settings or teach Reiki, a Master Teacher certification is necessary.

In this foundational course, you’ll embark on a journey to become attuned to the subtle yet powerful world of energy. The primary focus of Reiki Level 1 is to help you develop a deep comfort and familiarity with energy, allowing you to explore and work with it intuitively. Expect an engaging experience filled with extensive practice sessions, open discussions, and ample opportunities to ask questions.

Building a Strong Foundation

Reiki Level 1 serves as the cornerstone for further training in Level 2 and Master Level courses. Upon completing this course, it is highly recommended that you commit to a 21-day self-healing practice. Even a few minutes of daily self-Reiki can profoundly enhance your connection to this energy and deepen your understanding of its healing potential.

Evolving as a Holistic Healer

Reiki Level 2 is more than just mastering techniques; it’s a journey of personal growth and development as a holistic healer. You’ll learn effective methods to manage stress, cultivate relaxation and happiness, and extend these benefits to others. This course helps you create a sacred healing space where physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions harmonize.

Becoming a Community Healer

As a Level 2 Usui Reiki practitioner, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your practice into the community, whether as a volunteer or professional practitioner.
